GNEE Customized Shell and Tube Heat Exchangers Shipped in Bulk to Pakistan

Recently, GNEE’s customized shell and tube heat exchangers have completed production and inspection in batches and officially departed from Tianjin Port bound for Karachi Port in Pakistan. The heat exchangers being shipped will be used in the thermal energy recovery systems of key chemical industrial parks in Pakistan. This is an important achievement of GNEE in precisely matching the working conditions and requirements of the South Asian market, and also adds a new highlight to the energy equipment cooperation under the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).

GNEE’s winning of this project stems from its core advantages in shell and tube heat exchangers, including high-temperature and high-pressure adaptability, heat transfer efficiency, and customization capabilities. After multiple rounds of technical demonstrations and qualification reviews, GNEE ultimately stood out with its excellent quality and comprehensive service solutions.

The shell and tube heat exchangers being shipped have undergone specialized design optimizations to address the high-temperature and dry climate characteristics of Pakistan as well as the stringent working conditions in chemical industrial parks. The products use high-purity seamless copper tubes (C12200/TP2) as the core heat exchange elements. Through precision mechanical expansion tube technology, tight bonding between tubes and fins is achieved, ensuring a heat transfer efficiency 8%-12% higher than industry standards. The shell is made of an alloy material with excellent corrosion resistance, which has been strengthened by integral heat treatment. It can operate stably under 45bar high pressure and a wide temperature range from -50℃ to 150℃, fully meeting the needs of local industrial production. All products have passed ISO 9001 system certification and 100% airtightness and pressure resistance tests, with key performance indicators complying with international standards and Pakistan’s industrial equipment access requirements.

“To ensure the smooth progress of this cooperation, we have established a dedicated technical team to conduct multiple online and offline meetings with the Pakistani customer. We customized the design based on the specific parameters of their thermal energy recovery system and optimized the flow channel structures of the tube side and shell side, effectively reducing equipment operating energy consumption,” said the person in charge of GNEE’s Equipment Division. The batch of heat exchangers being shipped includes 3 specifications totaling 28 units. In the subsequent phase, technical engineers will be dispatched to Pakistan to provide one-stop services such as on-site installation guidance, commissioning, and operation and maintenance training to ensure the equipment is quickly put into production and delivers results.

In recent years, Pakistan’s industrial sectors such as chemicals and energy have been accelerating their upgrading, and the demand for efficient and durable heat exchange equipment has been rising continuously.
